scunthorpe anglicans advent carol service - sunday 1st December 2025

Anglicans from across Scunthorpe and surrounding villages will gather in St Hugh’s Church, Brumby Corner 6pm

Bottesford community carols - Sunday 14th December 2025

We gather outside St Peter’s Church, Bottesford at 6pm for a time of singing and reflection, led by the Lydian Choir

Gently into Christmas - Thursday 18th December 2025

Ease yourself into Christmas, take time to pause as we hear reflections on the Christmas message and sing more contemplative songs.

carols by candlelight - Sunday 21st December 2025

A service of traditional carols and bible readings telling the Christmas story

  • 6pm at St Peter’s, Bottesford

Crib and Christingle Services on christmas eve

Fun for all the family. Get a Christingle and hear the Christmas story being told as the crib scene is built and carols are sung.

Booking through our page helps us to keep everyone safe and ensure there are enough Christingles.

Both Christingle services at at St Peter’s, Bottesford are now full but we do have some space at 4pm in St Paul’s, Ashby.

  • 7pm Church of the Holy Spirit, Riddings - We gather outside for carols around the fire

  • 9pm at Church of the Holy Spirit, Riddings - Bethlehem-Midnight Communion. A traditional communion service with carols as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with those in Bethlehem.

  • 11.30pm at St Peter’s, Bottesford - midnight Communion on Christmas Eve. A traditional communion service with carols as we celebrate the birth of Jesus

Christmas day all age communion

  • 9.30am at St Paul’s, Ashby - Fun, informal service for all the family as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and share communion together.
